Hey !

I`m from Bodø in Norway !

I`ve bin on deviantART for some years now. Starting with uploading drawings and aircraft drawings, mostly doing some technical drawings of aircrafts. I use to draw a lot before, before i joined the airforce after i was done with the aviation technical school.
After joining the airforce i got myself into photography. I didn`t have that much spare time to sit on barracks drawing. That`s the main reason why I only did some few drawings the last 2 years.
Usually being out with friends and photographing, And when i wasn`t out photographing i was studying helicopter systems.
I joined the airforce as a soldier apprentice. Doing the "green stuff" for a year, while at the same time being with the airforce 330 SAR squadron operating the Sea King MK43B helicopters. Now after 2. 1/2 years i am a aircfraft systems technician. I was 1 year at Ørland AFB and the rest at Bodø AFB, at my hometown.
Now as i`m done with the apprentice time i want to do something new actually. I want to join some offshore work, i`ve bin thinking about ROV operations. To afford to have time to travell and to afford the photography gear. But for now i`m going to continue with the airforce, going on with fighter jets, the F16`s as a technician.
I`m also going to have more spare time, so i`m going to keep on with photography. I also want to do more drawings !

The Last Months I`ve had two good times shooting the Northern Lights ! The night from 21-22 / January and the 9th of March.
I haven`t bin so active uploading the pictures yet. I just had my final test as a apprentice so i`ve usually bin studying helicopter systems the last months.
I`ve passed the examination and i`m now a Aircraft Systems Technician !

Now i have my easter vacation, and i have allmost done nothing but photographing and being home with my family ^^

I am going to join the 132nd fighter wing at Bodø AFB, working with F-16`s. I am also going to be more active with drawing now !

Now as the midnight sun is soon comming the nights is getting shorter, and the season of seeing the Northern Lights above my hometown is comming to it`s end. But i have a lot of pictures to submit here ! I just updated my ID picture too

I`m going to keep on photographing, i am going to focus on photographing landscapes and eagles. My hometown is known for all the eagles here !
So when i get my next paycheck i`m going to buy a tele lense, a lense that goes to 500mm to start with. I guess it`s going to be the Sigma 150-500mm for my Nikon D300s. As i can`t afford that range with a fast apperture around the Nikkor AF-S F-4G lenses yet ! So going to start with a Sigma lense for now
