Auroas over Finnkonnakken

That mountain back there is named Finnkonnakken. Festvåg where a lot of the aurora pictures have bin taken from is to the left of Finnkonnakken. Norway, Bodø

I used some different settings on the camera or metering or something, realy i don`t remember but i made it look like more night with that setting, so i`m studying my camera settings to find out what was differenet in this shot ! To become better next season

Many peoples comment and love my pictures of this phenomen ! Which im very grateful for ! And i did laugh here one day, one of you dA friends asked if this was real or if i had manipulated the picture ^^

The only thing manipulated or edited on my Northern Lights pictures is a personal watermark, some pictures have bin edited darker, to give a more night look ! Without braking on the aurora itself . Pictures taken in the moonlight give a lot of overall light, and less night feeling.
But in this shot i used some settings which captured light and colour in a great way, and included the night, the pitch black sky with the stars ! I will check out more on that as im very happy novadays I`ve got my D300s back from service yesterday
