Auroras over Festvagby *SindreAHN

This picture was taken at Festvag around 30 minutes with car from my home, which is in Bodo in Norway !

Me and my friend was going out to look at auroras this night !
And we hit it some 10 minutes after we arrived at this place

The temperature was -37*C effective or -34*F, with the wind included !

The Auroras started out of nowhere ! As I today know is very common with auroras

The show lasted for over 1 hour ! The colours was mostly green and purple

It moved very fast and changed in look and density of colour and light during the whole hour !

This was the first time i`ve started shooting pictures of the Aurora Borealis ! And now my passion for this is extreme

Can`t wait for the 2011/12 season comming up in 4-5 months !
