Shot at the fields of Festvåg, north of Bodø in Norway

Me and my friend chase this phenomen like crasy from day one and through the whole season on every outbreak !
Looking around us for the lights we drove out in the dark winter night !
On our way to the location we was a bit over-excited ! He was driving and i looked at the data`s and looked out of the window searching for typical signes of outbreaks ! We drove around north of Bodø and saw something allmost everywhere ! But the outbreaks wheren`t what we wanted ! So we kept on driving north
Suddenly we see this long line of auroras right over the Mjelle mountains
We parked the car in the middle of the road and hit the emergency lights and park lights, and ran out to the field ! I have my camera and tripod in my hands, running away from the car, then ! seeing behind me i see a giant V-shaped outbreak !
I didn`t hesitate setting up my camera and some high settings and just shoot !
I think i captured the feeling and thrill by chasing this phenomen pretty good to !
