The Northern Lights 2011
The Northern lights of 2011`s first season was awesome !
It was also my first season of shooting auroras
And yes i learned a lot !
Can`t wait for this season comming up now ! The auroras isn`t regulated through seasons, but you know the dark and the light time with midnightsun, you can`t see it. So now, the dark comes around again !
This night was pitch black with some few stars visible, no aurora activity.. But ! It seems like it`s just around the corner before i`m standing out there shooting again !
The seasons, or the light and the dark time, whereas the dark is the months when you can see the Auroras, where i live !
It`s from September too April ! so it should be possible to see it for 8 months ! if you are lucky with weather too ! and the activity is great too, this year 2011 there have bin only 2 ! spotless days of auroras with none activity !!! So there`s some pretty extreme things going on at the sun !
For this picture particular it was shot at that awesome day of the 14-2nd-2011 !
