Shot at a parking between Festvåg and the Mjelle peaks at the awesome day of 11-3-2011 at 21:57PM !

We where shooting auroras this day, one of our first real active days of auroras in Mars ! During the first season time of this year !
The Northern Lights acted weak when we arrived but was going to build up to an amazing colourfull show on the sky !
At this time before 22:00PM the Auroras was moving from weak to extremely active quite fast ! So the camera settings was hard to match, this picture was shot with some lucky settings ! Set up for a long and weak show this moved from weak to extreme after i`ve hit the shutter !
So the picture was very black, and the colours where to much green looking, but after converting the RAW file it is easy to see that there are remains of some weak blue colour there too !
The show went from weak to extreme with a colour range of green, blue, purple, red, and yellow !
For now the second season of 2011 started now in september the activity have bin extreme high ! but the bad local weather and i`m having a cold i haven`t bin able to capture any new shots of it... but more to come !
